Our all-volunteer organization works hard to make a difference, from providing life-saving care to children in Cartagena to supporting life-changing education for deserving students in Tampa, Florida.Â
Through events and activities, our volunteers raise funds to promote the economic, cultural, educational, and health care of populations of children and adults from various Hispanic American countries and the United States. Our efforts target groups at risk of health, poor schooling, or social segregation due to their economic situation, lack of education and /or opportunities.

Colombian Volunteer Ladies Tampa Bay at a Glance
Colombian Volunteer Ladies of Tampa Bay, a not-for-profit 501 (C) (3) organization, was founded in 1982 by a group of ladies from the Tampa Bay area.
Throughout our 40 years of existence, we have donated nearly a million dollars to different charities in Colombia, Latin America, and the United States. Originally, the main purpose of the organization was to help the underprivileged and deserving children. This goal, however, was expanded many years ago to include the elderly, the sick, and the disabled, as well as local organizations in need of our support.
Our volunteers bear out all the operations, therefore our expenses are minimal.

Children's Health
OUR WORK BEGAN IN 1982.
From the beginning, our organization's main purpose has been to help underprivileged and deserving children. Nearly 70 of our financial assistance goes to organizations that help children like The institute for Blind Children in Bogota, Fundacion Atencion a la Ninez in Medellin, and Shriner’s Children Medical Center in Tampa.
Education
BUILDING THE FUTURE
We are proud supporters of the USF Latino Scholarship program. We believe that access to higher education is essential to creating new generations of leaders.
Protection of the vulnerable
LOVE AND SERVICE
The plight of poor seniors is also close to our hearts. Throughout the years, we have provided steady financial support to "Fundacion el Cottolengo" en Cali to provide vulnerable elderly shelter, food, and medical care.
